![]() | Fog on top of Going to the Sun Road (approaching Logan Pass). At Logan Pass a couple days ago I literally could not see 15 feet in front of me. Even in the parking lot you could not see the visitors center. I don't recall ever seeing such heavy fog as there was that day.

I drove from to Waterton International Peace Park in Canada to the Saint Mary Entrance. The scenery at several overlooks on that drive were amazing. Then I drove along Going-to-the-Sun Road and walked around Sun Point and then did the Hidden Lake hike at Logan Pass. The day ended at a unspectacular 1960's motor inn (Apgar Village Lodge) with an amazing view. More Glacier National Park photos from 2005. |
